The Senior 3D Model Application Engineer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting the implementation and administration of 3D engineering design applications and model environments throughout the Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Construction, and Commissioning phases of ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures effective model management, multidisciplinary integration, data integrity, and compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements for both Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
Qué harás
- Administer and maintain project 3D model environments, databases, and engineering design applications.
- Configure and support Smart 3D (S3D), AVEVA E3D, or equivalent 3D modelling platforms used by EPC Contractors and the PMC team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration across Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, and HVAC disciplines.
- Review EPC Contractor 3D model execution plans, modelling procedures, and project setup to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
- Ensure model quality, consistency, and compliance through regular audits and quality checks.
- Support clash detection, model validation, and design coordination using Navisworks or equivalent software.
- Coordinate model reviews with ADNOC, PMC, EPC Contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Support Brownfield engineering by integrating laser scan/point cloud data into the project model and ensuring compatibility with existing facilities.
- Verify existing facility information and support tie-in and interface engineering activities for Brownfield modifications.
- Maintain engineering databases, reference catalogues, specifications, and component libraries.
- Support extraction of engineering deliverables including layouts, isometrics, equipment arrangements, MTOs, and model reports.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to engineering users.
- Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and project database maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with project document control, data management, and information security requirements.
- Participate in model reviews, constructability reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, 3D model reviews, and design coordination meetings.
- Support construction, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
- Ensure accurate transfer of final As-Built model and project databases at project completion.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. Minimum 12+ years of experience in Engineering Design Systems, 3D Modelling Applications, or Engineering Information Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Smart 3D, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or equivalent 3D engineering platforms.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar Senior 3D Model Application Engineer role on major Offshore Oil & Gas EPC or PMC projects.
- Demonstrated experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield offshore developments.
- Strong experience during Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC project phases.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams and EPC Contractors.
- ADNOC Offshore project experience is required.
