WHO ARE WE?

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.

In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

YOUR MISSION

At Sateliot, your mission as an Artificial Intelligence Trainee will be to support the internal adoption of AI by researching emerging tools, learning best practices, and helping teams explore how AI can enhance their daily workflows.

You will collaborate with different departments to identify use cases for AI, assist in prompt design, experimentation, and basic automations, and contribute to spreading AI knowledge across the company. You will also actively participate in Sateliot's internal AI Guild, learning from experienced professionals while contributing fresh ideas and experimentation.

This role is designed as a hands-on learning experience, where curiosity, initiative, and a passion for AI are key.

YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Stay up to date with AI trends through articles, forums, newsletters, and specialized publications.

• Research and compare AI tools, models, and use cases relevant to business and operational needs.

• Support the organization of internal learning sessions, demos, or workshops on AI tools and productivity use cases.

• Assist in designing and testing prompts and basic output-optimization strategies for different AI applications.

• Collaborate with the AI Guild by documenting learnings, experiments, and best practices.

• Help identify simple automation opportunities using tools like n8n or similar platforms.

• Support API-based AI integrations under the guidance of technical teams.

• Work closely with different departments to understand their needs and propose AI-driven ideas.

• Contribute to internal documentation and reports on AI experiments, tools, and learnings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a degree or master's in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

• Basic understanding of technical environments (software development, APIs, cloud concepts).

• Familiarity with AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation tools, or similar) is a plus.

• Interest in prompt engineering and experimentation with AI models.

• Analytical mindset and curiosity to explore, test, and learn quickly.

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently with guidance.
