About the role

We are looking for a talented Freelance Mid-Level Graphic Designer with a strong background in design, branding and motion graphics for a three-month contract. In this role, you will create visually creative content across digital, print and multimedia platforms.

Working closely with our marketing and design teams, you will conceptualise and execute everything from social media content and digital adverts to event materials and presentations. In this role, you will help our in-house team successfully finalise the rebranding project and execute its launch campaign, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design & Motion: Create high-quality visual content for digital, print and video. You will design artwork and assets for social media, web, paid advertising, presentations and event/exhibition materials.

• Animation & Content Creation: Turn static concepts into engaging motion graphics and video content that elevate our brand identity.

• Concept & Collaboration: Brainstorm and execute design projects from initial idea or brief into high quality deliverables. Collaborate with marketing and design teams, ensuring feedback is properly implemented and internal processes are followed.

• Brand Stewardship: Maintain strict brand consistency across all channels, platforms and mediums.

• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to hit tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Seamless Integration: Smooth hand-off of source files and collaborative workflow with the internal team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience.

• Proven experience working on re-brandings, campaign roll-outs (both print and digital) as well as event spaces. This is essential.

• A strong portfolio that showcases both creative static graphic design and dynamic motion/animation work.

• We will soon begin a major new web design project, so strong hands-on experience using Figma for layouts, reviews and component handling is a massive advantage.

Technical Skills

• Expert Proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

• Highly Desirable: Figma (for a new web design project).

• Core Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of typography, motion principles, colour theory, layout and asset optimisation for various platforms.

• AI Knowledge: Experience in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and know how to use these as effective tools to increase output, iterations and productivity.

Soft Skills

• Self-Starter: Ability to hit the ground running and quickly integrate with the marketing and design teams.

• Communication: Sharp English communication skills; able to present and explain creative choices clearly.

Adaptability: Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and projects independently.
