As we continue to deliver outstanding learning experiences, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Economics and Business Management Teacher to join our team on a temporary cover basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and engaging students across the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), delivering high-quality teaching that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking and real-world application of economic and business concepts.

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Economics and Business Management across the MYP and DP programmes.
• Teach Business Management in English within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP).
• Teach Economics in Spanish within the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities in line with IB frameworks and school expectations.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support achievement and continuous improvement.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs, abilities and learning styles of individual students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and engagement.
• Encourage students to develop analytical, critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for higher education pathways.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities and Business departments to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, parent conferences, school events and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community and support extracurricular initiatives when appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues, reflecting the values and ethos of the school.
• Support the implementation of school policies and safeguarding procedures.
