Role overview:

As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our frontend engineering team. You will work alongside our other engineers to shape the architectural framework of our applications, code intricate frontend components, and orchestrate the deployment of the final product that is seen in millions of homes worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Improve architecture and coding standards in the frontend
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and developers are working effectively
• Participate and assist in setting the long-term direction, roadmaps, and standards for the web app
• Design, code, test, maintain and deliver features of the web app
• Follow the processes for software development and documentation
• Conduct code reviews of work done by other engineers in the team
• Work with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver new features
• Establish and track SLAs (internal and external), KPIs, and team objectives

Requirements

What makes you a great fit:

• 4+ years of relevant experience as a JavaScript developer with React
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS
• Experience with Cypress
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and a strong understanding of SOLID principles and software architecture best practices
• Love for writing clean, modular code in a fast-paced, agile development model

Nice to have:

• Experience developing web apps for Smart TVs
• Experience with the HTML5 video player and other players (HLS.js, Shaka Player)
• Experience integrating Ads platforms (VAST)
