Multinational Claims Handler (P&C) Madrid, Spain XL Insurance Company SE (XLICSE), a wholly owned subsidiary of AXA XL, offers the primary insurance platform for AXA XL. It operates globally through an international network of branches, subsidiaries, and third-party fronting partners. Multinational Solutions/programs are at the core of AXA XL's strategy, they are managed within local claims teams or by AXA XL's network partners. You will be part of the Multinational Claims Hub, responsible for managing network and associated claims on different jurisdictions and differing values. This is a regulated role under the Central Bank of Ireland's Fitness and Probity regime. What you'll be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include? Manage a portfolio of Multinational Network Partners, ensuring performance and compliance. Handle approval requests for claims exceeding the authority limits of network partners. Collaborate with Claim Managers and Practice Leaders to optimize claim outcomes, determine the engagement of external vendors, and develop strategic plans for large losses. Improve operational efficiency by implementing best practices and governance policies. Support global risk assessments for Network Partners (annual NP and overall NP). When needed, participate in NP surveys, virtual visits, and governance/engagment meetings. Remediate service quality and operational issues promptly to support a client-focused culture. Foster collaboration between Network Partner hubs and producing offices. Engage with stakeholders internally and externally, including Network Partner Management Centres and global functions, for relationship management. You will report to the Multinational Claims Hub Manager. What you will BRING We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Proven experience handling Property & Casualty claims of various sizes across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; other languages a plus. Proven ability of cross-functional collaboration, engagement, and communication skills. Results-driven, capable of meeting program milestones and delivering results. Client-focused, with a collaborative communication style. Eager to learn, develop, and grow within a professional claims environment. Ability to thrive in a multicultural and complex setting.
