For our Headquarters in Rome, we are looking for a QHSE Middle East, East Europe, and North Africa Specialist.

Role Objective:
The QHSE Specialist supports the implementation of corporate policies on quality, health, safety, and environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to international standards. Under the guidance of the QHSE Manager or Operational Manager, the Specialist promotes a culture focused on safety, quality, and sustainability, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring safe and efficient working environments across all projects and activities within the regions of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of the Group's QHSE guidelines and policies, ensuring proper application in the operational units within the designated geographical areas (Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa);
• Support local QHSE Managers in defining and developing project-specific QHSE plans, monitoring their effectiveness and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards;
• Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and QHSE management systems, collaborating on corrective and preventive actions;
• Prepare QHSE documentation for tenders, institutional reports, and performance monitoring, in collaboration with the Proposal Manager and relevant teams;
• Collaborate in planning and delivering QHSE training, fostering a corporate culture focused on safety, quality, and sustainability;
• Provide technical and operational support for incident management, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventive and corrective actions;
• Monitor QHSE KPIs and propose solutions to improve performance, ensuring safe and efficient working environments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines;
• 3-5 years of experience in QHSE, preferably in engineering, construction, or complex industrial sectors;
• Excellent command of Italian and English; knowledge of French will be considered a plus;
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) standards, with a preference for direct experience in implementing management systems;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other specialized QHSE software;
• Ability to analyze data, interpret regulations, and support the development of operational strategies;
• QHSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, or other equivalent recognized qualifications) are highly preferred;
• Strong teamwork skills, ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, excellent organizational skills, and flexibility with availability for travel within the designated areas.
