Requisitos

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to demonstrate practical solutions.
Proficiency in English, with the ability to work and communicate comfortably in an international environment.
Knowledge of: html, xml, DOM, xpath.
You're not afraid of adapting, learning and working with different languages and frameworks.
Ability to solve programming problems, with an understanding of the impact of solutions in terms of algorithmic time and space complexity.
Collaborative working style, involving colleagues in important decisions and contributing to a culture of shared code ownership.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Python 3
Experience or familiarity with Java and tools/frameworks such as Spring, Scrapy, Scrapyd, and WebHarvest.

Job Description

For our Barcelona office, our Engineering team is looking for a Junior Back-end Developer who is eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

Work with a talented team of engineers in data acquisition (scrape, process, validate and fix huge amount of data).
Maintain and create parts of a scraping platform
Take part in the modernization of a long-running platform, helping transform and improve a system that has supported our products for years.
