As a Manager Consultant you will own client relationships and engagement delivery, bridging executive sponsors and technical teams, and you will be accountable for solutions reaching production with measurable results.

The role

You will lead data and AI engagements from discovery to adoption. You will work with client executives to define the business problem, shape the solution with your engineering team, and keep delivery, scope, quality and stakeholder alignment on track. You will coach consultants and engineers, and you will be the person clients trust to turn a complex transformation into a measurable result.

You will not delegate accountability for outcomes. You own the engagement, the relationship and the business impact.

Engagement leadership

• Lead end-to-end data and AI projects, from scoping and discovery through delivery, go-live and value tracking.

• Own project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and quality across one or more concurrent engagements.

• Define success metrics with the client upfront and report progress against business outcomes, not just milestones.

Client relationships and business engineering

• Build trusted relationships with client executives and business stakeholders, and act as their advisor on priorities and trade-offs.

• Lead discovery sessions, map processes and data landscapes, and identify where data and AI can create measurable impact.

• Translate business strategy into clear solution roadmaps and investment cases that executives can approve.

Team and delivery management

• Lead, mentor and develop consultants and engineers, setting clear expectations and building high-performing teams.

• Work with the technical leads to ensure architectures, data models and AI solutions are sound, scalable and production-ready.

• Drive adoption, change management and handover so solutions are used daily by the business.

Commercial and practice contribution

• Support scoping, estimation and proposal development for new opportunities.

• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to reusable assets and accelerators.

• Share what works across the team and help shape how Propelling Tech delivers.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, delivery or technology roles, including at least 2 years leading data and/or analytics projects.

• Proven track record delivering data projects (e.g., data platforms, pipelines, analytics, reporting, or AI-enabled solutions) in complex enterprise environments, ideally in cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).

• Solid understanding of data architecture concepts, such as data models, pipelines and data quality, with enough technical fluency to challenge and guide engineering teams.

• Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks and multi-stakeholder expectations.

• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to lead conversations with C-level sponsors and technical teams alike.

• Experience leading, coaching or developing team members.

• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in a related field.

• Hands-on experience with automation or AI workflow tools such as n8n, or a working understanding of AI agents and agentic workflows.

• Prior experience in a consulting firm or client-facing advisory role.

• Domain exposure to insurance, pharma, life sciences or healthcare supply chain.

• Familiarity with data governance, MDM or data catalog platforms.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or cloud/data certifications.

What success looks like

Within your first six months you will have taken ownership of a client engagement, led it to a measurable business result, and built trust with the client's executive sponsors. Over time you will lead multiple engagements, develop your team, and influence how Propelling Tech scopes, delivers and grows its client portfolio.
