🎯 Your mission

We are looking for a Country Manager with strong experience in the padel industry with fluent or native English based in South Africa to become part of our Supply team, managing the portfolio of sports clubs there and leading outbound sales efforts. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships between sports clubs in the region and Playtomic. If you are someone who has a tremendous amount of energy, curiosity and is persuasive... this is the role for you!

👩🏽‍💻 What you'll be doing

1. Create and maintain long-term relationships with our top partners through proactive and regular communication, supporting in everything they need and building engagement to our platform. This includes weekly and monthly business reviews and face-to face meetings.

2. Improve operational performance of our partners making sure we always deliver the best service to our players while increasing Playtomic's revenue

3. End-to-end sales for new partners in the region by engaging potential clients and presenting the product, identifying their needs and motivations and communicating our unique value proposition.

4. Reduce partner churn by maintaining a very close relationship and being their preferred partner.

5. Identify and analyze the needs of churned and inactive partners in order to build an action plan for reactivation

👥 Who you'll be playing with

You'll be working hand-in-hand with the Regional Manager and collaborating with the larger Club Success team.

🦄 Our Ideal "Player"

• 2+ years experience and demostrable network in the padel industry (club management, league management, academy organization)

• 3+ years of work experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Customer Success roles

• Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets is a must

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Problem solver, highly organized and detail oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth and high-performance organization

• Fluency in English

• Availability to travel as required

• Ideally based in Johannesburg or Cape Town (not obligatory)
