Senior Engineer Grid Code Compliance & Testing (m/f/d)

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Engineer Grid Code Compliance & Testing. As part of Electrical Grid integration department, you will be responsible for:

YOUR TASKS

• Ensuring the grid code compliance of Nordex products with end-to-end mentality
• Analyzing and evaluating Grid Code requirements and standards, ensuring that there is no requirement without a test case
• Transferring and translating Grid Code requirements to the software development process by abstract software requirements and test cases as a member of an agile software development process
• Developing internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance and support the Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phase
• Defining test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine and component level
• Performing, evaluating and documenting Grid Code compliance tests, analysing test data
• Specifying new functions and features to gain, maintain and optimise Grid Code compliance on wind farm and wind turbine level
• Shaping and clarifying Grid Code requirements within working groups, committees and direct exchange with utilities and customers
• Having a clear picture and deep understanding of the capabilities of the Nordex products to be able to rate Grid Code compliance
• Optimizing the processes within Grid Code compliance

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or similar fields*
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Advanced English level (C1-C2). Spanish and/or German are a plus
• Intercultural understanding, and you thrive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies
• Availability to travel

*For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
