Mission:You'll be responsible for managing and monitoring customer credit risk within the global financial services team. The role focuses on assessing creditworthiness, defining credit limits, and ensuring compliance with global credit policies, while supporting business growth and minimizing financial exposure.
The team's objective is to reduce bad debt risk and optimize trade receivables, while partnering with commercial and finance teams across different markets.Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assess and review customer risk profiles and credit limits
- Ensure the implementation and enforcement of global credit policies across all subsidiaries
- Manage relationships with credit insurance providers and oversee insurance coverage
- Monitor credit limit utilization and blockages, and take appropriate action
- Make credit decisions within assigned authority levels
- Act as a key point of contact for Customer Service and Commercial teams to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers
- Regularly liaise with Finance Directors, General Managers, and Commercial Directors within local credit committees
- Plan and coordinate quarterly credit review activities
- Prepare reports and presentations for top management on credit risk exposure and status
- Manage claims processes with credit insurance companies
