Research Assistant in Robotics

Accelerated Materials Discovery: RoboMAT group is seeking to fill a research assistant position to help the development of autonomous laboratory. The successful candidate will join the team employing collaborative robots and AI in materials design. In particular, this position will be responsible for setting up autonomus experiment involving collaborative and mobile robots. The main task will be to move material samples between characterization stations.

Ideal candidate:

-recent or about to graduate in robotics or closely related field

-knowledge of programming, e.g. Python as well as ROS

-familiarity with 3D printing, microcontrollers and related aspects of DIY robotics is a plus

-previous work or research experience is a plus

-fluent in English
