We jumped in and we empowered patients by giving them access to leave and read reviews about their visit. We then provided doctors with the technology to manage bookings easily and save time, so they could devote themselves to what they always wanted: treating patients.Now Docplanner is creating a healthcare ecosystem that seamlessly connects patients with doctors while integrating smart tools to provide quicker, more precise diagnoses and treatments. Job Description

We're building the infrastructure that helps doctors and patients across 8 countries connect, communicate, and deliver better healthcare. 90M+ sessions a month. Marketplace, SaaS, apps, AI products. All of it running on a platform you'll own.

We're looking for someone who's done this before. At scale. And wants to do it again, better.

What this is

This is not a maintenance role. We're in the middle of a major architectural shift: modernizing our stack, consolidating legacy systems, going AI-native across engineering, and scaling a platform that needs to support a product that's changing fast. You'll lead the global platform team and set the technical direction for how we build, deploy, and operate everything.

Why this is a rare opportunity

AI-native engineering is not a feature we're adding. It's the foundation we're building. Platform is where that either works or doesn't. The person who figures out how to make a large engineering organization dramatically more productive through AI tooling, agents, and infrastructure is solving a problem nobody has fully solved yet. You'd be doing it here, at a real scale, with real stakes.

We're also genuinely committed to simplicity. There's a growing backlash against complexity for its own sake, and we're part of it. We believe simplicity is a strategy, not a compromise. We're open to bold ideas. Running on our own hardware instead of renting AWS forever, or going all-in on cloud-native. A well-crafted monorepo instead of a distributed mess. Radical simplicity over architectural fashion.

And the domain matters. We're helping people live longer and healthier lives. Decisions here affect patient outcomes and doctor productivity across 8 countries. If you're bored of ad-tech or fintech, this is different.
