POSITION

Every brand needs a voice. Not a vague, corporate-sounding voice that could belong to anyone. A real one. Sharp, direct, and built to cut through.

As a Brand Copywriter at Codeway, you will be the person behind the words. The Brand Team is a small, lean team that functions as Codeway's in-house creative studio, owning brand identity, communications, design, and creative output for Codeway HQ and every vertical company. The team includes dedicated designers, motion and video specialists, event producers, and communications leads. Every discipline a copywriter needs to bring their best work to life is already in the room.

You will own the written craft across every channel and format Codeway touches. A social caption in the morning, a website rewrite by afternoon, an executive post before end of day. The range is wide, the bar is high, and the pace is real.

You will work closely with the brand team, receiving briefs and turning them into sharp, on-brand output at pace. You will also bring your own ideas and angles to the table, spot cultural moments, and turn them into content opportunities before anyone asks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Write copy across LinkedIn and Instagram: company posts, employee and leadership posts, articles, captions, stories, bios, visual copy.

· Write and maintain all website copy across codeway.co and its verticals.

· Script brand videos, business storytelling videos, podcast content, and event narratives.

· Create copy for presentations: recruitment PDFs, onboarding decks, department and leadership decks.

· Write hiring campaigns, culture pieces, employee stories, and employer branding content.

· Shape visual content direction in close collaboration with the design team.

· Flag cultural moments and draft reactive content ideas before they are briefed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

The craft. You are an excellent writer. Your words are sharp, your sentences are clean, and you know the difference between copy that works and copy that just fills space.

Rhythm. You deliver strong work consistently. Not someone who peaks and disappears. You have a natural pace that the team can build around.

Adaptability. You write for the brand, not for yourself. When direction changes, you change with it. When a draft needs another round, you come back with something better.

Cultural awareness. You know what is happening in tech, culture, and social. You connect dots others miss and instinctively think about how to turn a moment into a brand opportunity.

Editorial judgment. You know when something needs two hours and when it needs two days. You calibrate effort to context.

Openness to feedback. You take notes, ask questions, and come back with something meaningfully improved. You see feedback as part of the craft.

AI fluency. Codeway is an AI-native company. You use AI tools for brainstorming, iteration, and speed. But the voice, the judgment, and the final quality are yours.

English. Near-native or strong professional English. You will be writing for a global audience across every channel.

3+ years in brand copywriting, creative copywriting, or a closely related role. Agency, in-house tech, or consumer brand experience preferred. A portfolio that shows range: short-form and long-form, playful and precise, social and web.

Nice to have. Spanish language skills. Experience at a consumer app or fast-scaling tech company. Ghostwriting or video scripting experience.
