From Catenon, we are collaborating with Contemporary Star Energy (CES), a joint venture driven by Stellantis focused on the development and supply of advanced energy solutions, particularly in the field of batteries and electrification. We are looking for an Equipment Buyer to join our team and manage equipment procurement activities, supplier development, and sourcing strategies in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

What will be your mission?
Ensure the successful procurement of equipment and value-added services, supporting project milestones, supplier performance, cost reduction targets, and operational readiness within a strategic industrial project.

Qué harás

- Liaise with internal project teams and stakeholders, participating in equipment procurement processes and negotiation of procurement plans.
- Develop supplier resources for standard and non-standard equipment, including sourcing, auditing, onboarding, and agreement signing.
- Manage the full procurement process for new equipment and value-added services, including price negotiation, supplier nomination, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Perform cost analysis and support cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead supplier capacity planning to ensure sufficient capacity and on-time delivery.
- Resolve supply issues, emergencies, and operational anomalies.
- Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement actions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to introduce competitive technical solutions that enhance product competitiveness.

Qué buscan

- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment purchasing / procurement.
- Experience in global procurement environments will be highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong decision-making skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Proficiency in English as a working language is required. Fluent Chinese is preferred.
