We are looking for a skilled DBA with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL / Oracle and AWS database services. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, optimizing, and evolving scalable database platforms, working with large datasets, automation, and infrastructure, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Oracle / PostgreSQL databases.

• Plan and execute version upgrades, schema changes, and data migrations across environments.

• Work with large datasets (terabytes of data) and design solutions for high availability.

• Implement database automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are architected and validated in the cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL database administration (installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting).

• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Experience with AWS services.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Scripting experience for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to database monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

• Experience with database performance optimization and query tuning.

• Experience managing large-scale, high-transaction databases.
