Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst

At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to join an international digital transformation project based in Barcelona.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud implementation, helping businesses optimise their commercial operations, improve sales processes and deliver innovative CRM solutions.

We are looking for a professional with a strong functional Salesforce background, capable of understanding business needs, working directly with stakeholders and translating requirements into effective solutions.

You don't need to be a Salesforce Developer or a Consumer Goods Cloud expert. We particularly value experience in Salesforce implementations, functional consulting, business analysis and stakeholder management, along with an interest in expanding your expertise into new Salesforce solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce functional solutions.
• Lead workshops, gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Analyse and optimise business processes related to sales, customer management and commercial operations.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and contribute to Salesforce functional solution design.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers and QA teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Manage functional requirements, support backlog prioritisation and coordinate with technical delivery teams.
• Participate in UAT, defect management and go-live preparation.
• Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, ideally as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Experience participating in Salesforce implementation or digital transformation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of Sales Cloud or other Salesforce solutions.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional documentation and user stories.
• Ability to lead functional discussions and communicate effectively with clients and business stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of UAT processes and Salesforce implementation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, particularly Retail Execution, Visit Management, Trade Promotion Management or Order Management.
• Knowledge of Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail or Distribution business processes.
• Experience with field sales, merchandising or retail execution processes.
• Previous participation in end-to-end Salesforce implementations, from discovery through go-live.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant or Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional.
• Familiarity with OmniStudio, Vlocity or other Salesforce industry solutions.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and ERP systems.

CONDITIONS

• Location: Barcelona, Spain.
• Working model: Hybrid - 2 days per week at the client's offices.
• Project: International Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud implementation.
• Working languages: English and Spanish.
