Responsibilities

• Delivering food: The restaurant runner is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely and efficient manner.

• Checking orders: The runner should check each order for accuracy and ensure that the correct dishes are delivered to the right tables.

• Providing customer service: The runner may interact with guests to answer questions, make recommendations, and provide general assistance with their dining experience.

• Clearing tables: The runner may also be responsible for clearing tables and ensuring that the dining area is clean and tidy.

• Assisting with other duties: The runner may assist with other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager, such as preparing tables, taking orders, or processing payments.

Requirements

• Customer service skills: Restaurant runners should have good customer service skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests.

• Ability to work under pressure: Restaurant runners must be able to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Attention to detail: Restaurant runners must pay attention to details to ensure that orders are accurate and delivered to the right tables.

• Ability to work in a team: Restaurant runners should be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with other staff members.

• International approach: Must be able to fully communicate in English.

• North Holland: Living in Amsterdam or nearby (flexible with commuting).
