Strategic Development & M&A Manager - Renewable... Terrenos · Roma · Híbrido

Anuncio original

Solaria, a leading renewable energy company in Southern Europe and part of the IBEX 35, continues to expand internationally and strengthen its strategic pipeline. To support this growth, we are seeking a Strategic Development & M&A Manager, a hybrid profile with experience both in project development and land acquisition, as well as in M&A operations within the renewable energy sector.

Role Mission

Lead and coordinate the activities related to the identification and assessment of land opportunities, as well as the participation in acquisition processes, providing an integrated view of the asset's value throughout its entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new land opportunities suitable for renewable energy projects, analysing their technical, planning and environmental feasibility.

  • Negotiate with landowners, intermediaries and local authorities to secure land acquisition or availability under optimal conditions.

  • Coordinate the full development of projects, working closely with Engineering, Legal, Permitting and other internal teams to ensure progress and regulatory compliance.

  • Analyse M&A opportunities at different stages (early stage, RTB, COD, operational), including preliminary financial modelling and asset valuation.

  • Manage and coordinate technical, legal and financial due diligence processes, ensuring accurate integration of information for strategic decision‑making.

  • Prepare strategic documentation for internal committees and support negotiations with counterparties, advisors and key stakeholders.

  • Provide a transversal perspective connecting organic development with inorganic growth, identifying synergies and contributing to Solaria's expansion strategy in Italy and other markets.

Candidate Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Environmental Sciences or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.

  • Proven experience in project development and land acquisition.

  • Demonstrated experience in M&A processes (valuation, modelling, due diligence, negotiations).

  • Strong knowledge of the Italian regulatory, planning and permitting framework.

  • Ability to work with objectives and KPIs, ensuring delivery and performance tracking.

  • Experience managing teams and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex interactions.

  • Analytical, structured and results‑oriented profile.

  • Native Italian, professional level of English, and other languages such as Spanish are considered an asset.
