About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in PHP and Laravel to help design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable server-side applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring system performance, stability, and long-term maintainability across a growing digital health ecosystem.
You will take ownership of backend services and APIs, troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize database performance, and contribute to architectural decisions. Working in a remote-first and fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who is detail-oriented, enjoys solving challenging technical problems, and thrives in collaborative environments while maintaining strong autonomy.
