We are searching for the best talent for (Sr.) Consumer Strategy & Insights Specialist to be in Seoul. This position is to backfill a J&J employee who is going to be absent for 18 months of maternity and child rearing leave.
Position Summary:
Sr. Consumer Strategy & Insights Specialist will own end‑to‑end consumer promotion planning and activation in Korea-from defining promotion mechanics and execution plans to forecasting business impact, managing exposure plans, and delivering post‑promotion learning.
This role partners closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, and cross‑functional stakeholders to activate promotions with strong operational excellence (materials, processes, and compliance), while also leveraging MyACUVUE® App and ACUVUE® Web platforms to deepen engagement, drive retention, and optimize the consumer journey.
You will turn consumer, business insights into actionable promotional programs and CRM activities-then drive execution with partners to deliver measurable wearer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
This is not a pure analytics role. This role is for someone who uses data and insight to plan, activate, and execute promotions that move actual sales.
You will be responsible for:
360° Consumer Promotion Strategy & Execution
- Develop national‑scale, fully integrated consumer promotions (concept → mechanics → rollout) supporting brand priorities, launches, and business acceleration objectives.
- Design promotion concepts and mechanics, grounded in consumer insight, commercial feasibility and category benchmarks.
- Build end‑to‑end omnichannel activation plans across CRM, digital media, and field/trade touchpoints; align timelines, roles, and deliverables to maximize awareness and conversion.
- Conduct sales forecasting for each initiative, quantify impact scenarios, and optimize exposure/investment plans based on in‑market results.
- Own performance tracking and post‑promotion evaluation (sell‑out, redemption, ROI, digital/CRM KPIs) and translate learnings into the next promotion wave.
- Oversee promotion budget planning and spend control (including agency/vendor management), ensuring investment efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Drive operational excellence for promotion rollout: execution guideline creation, materials/POSM readiness, Sales briefing, and T&Cs to ensure smooth, compliant delivery.
- Lead cross‑functional activation governance with Sales, Trade Marketing, Brand, Finance, and agencies; ensure on‑time delivery and issue resolution during live promotions.
- Ensure all consumer promotions are executed compliantly within J&J policies and applicable external regulations/guidelines.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, trade marketing or sales within FMCG or cosmetics (trade marketing experience strongly preferred).
- Hands‑on experience planning and executing promotions that delivered measurable commercial results (sell‑out, conversion, incremental volume).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear activation decisions and execution plans.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in Korean (written & verbal); proficient in English for business communication.
