Qué harás

We are looking for a Junior Mobility Specialist to join our Bilbao or Madrid office, within the City and Territory Consulting Business Line, to support the development of urban and regional mobility strategies in collaboration with international multidisciplinary teams.

You will work alongside engineers, architects, urban planners, and environmental experts on projects that shape the future of cities and territories. Your role will be key in integrating mobility solutions into broader urban planning frameworks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the definition of urban transport and mobility for Regional Development Plans, Territorial Plans, Urban Regeneration, Master Planning, and Basic Infrastructure Plans for new cities and productive complexes.

  • Promoting innovative solutions in urban mobility.

  • Participating in feasibility studies, strategic planning, and project development in the field of urban transport and infrastructure, with a focus on road systems and urban mobility.

  • Assisting in data collection, mapping, and analysis using GIS and other digital tools.

  • Contributing to the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals for national and international clients.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in projects that promote sustainable, inclusive, and resilient mobility.

  • Supporting business development and proposal preparation.

Requisitos

Qué buscan

  • Hold a degree in Engineering (Civil, Transport, Industrial, Environmental) or other related fields such as Urban Planning, Geography, or Architecture, with a Master's in Mobility or Transport.

  • Have 0 to 3 years of experience in mobility, transport planning, or urban development projects.

  • Willingness to travel and undertake project stays abroad.

  • Previous experience working in multicultural environments (Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, etc.) is an asset.

  • Have knowledge of transport modeling software, GIS tools, or data visualization tools.

  • Knowledge of Office and Adobe packages.

  • You have advanced English and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset particularly Arabic, French, Russian.

  • Are proactive, curious, and eager to learn.

  • Above all... you want to grow professionally in an international company like IDOM.
