About the Role

The Director, Service Supply Chain Transformation Center of Excellence is responsible for defining and leading the multi-year transformation strategy for HP's Service Supply Chain organization.

This role establishes the future-state vision, roadmap, governance, and capabilities needed to modernize service supply chain operations across physical and digital transformation priorities.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, transformation execution, and enterprise governance, this leader partners across functional organizations including Plan, Make, Source, Logistics, Returns, Finance, IT/Digital Transformation, and other Centers of Excellence to align priorities, remove barriers, and deliver sustainable business value. The successful candidate will combine supply chain expertise, structured program leadership, executive influence, financial acumen, and change leadership to drive measurable outcomes in a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation Roadmap

  • Define and maintain the long-term Service Supply Chain transformation vision, operating model, and capability roadmap in partnership with functional leaders.

  • Develop, govern, and continuously refresh a multi-year transformation portfolio aligned to business strategy, investment priorities, ROI, and organizational capacity.

  • Identify and advance future-state network designs, digital capabilities, process improvements, and operating model changes that strengthen service, cost, quality, productivity, resilience, and customer experience.

  • Drive prioritization of transformation initiatives, investment plans, and executive decision points through fact-based recommendations and tradeoff analysis.

Portfolio, Program & Governance Leadership

  • Lead a global portfolio of transformation programs across physical and digital Service Supply Chain priorities, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and value realization objectives.

  • Establish and govern transformation methodologies, phase-gate reviews, program governance, decision frameworks, and performance management routines.

  • Manage program interdependencies, risks, issues, and executive escalations to accelerate execution and sustain momentum.

  • Define and track entitlement, benefits realization, adoption, and operational sustainability metrics for transformation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Transformation & Change Leadership

  • Partner with senior leaders across Service Supply Chain, Enterprise Operations, Finance, IT/Digital Transformation, and related Centers of Excellence to align transformation priorities and resource commitments.

  • Clarify accountability between the Center of Excellence and operating functions, ensuring strong handoffs to process owners and sustainable adoption of new capabilities.

  • Orchestrate organizational change management, readiness planning, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies for major transformation programs.

  • Serve as a senior advisor to Service Supply Chain leadership on transformation strategy, network evolution, digital initiatives, and enterprise execution risks.

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Provide direct and ongoing leadership to a global team of program and project managers, business solution architects, and functional or technical subject matter experts.

  • Build organizational capabilities in transformation leadership, program management, change management, analytics, digital enablement, and structured problem solving.

  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused, inclusive culture that enables collaboration, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead talent development, performance management, organization design, and succession planning for critical transformation capabilities.

Education and Experience Required

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience in supply chain, service supply chain, operations, transformation, program leadership, consulting, or a related field.

  • Experience leading global, cross-functional transformation programs in complex matrixed organizations.

  • Experience developing transformation roadmaps, governance models, investment priorities, business cases, and value realization mechanisms.

  • Experience leading teams and building organizational capabilities across program management, change management, analytics, and transformation execution.

  • Achieves goals through direct reports, matrixed teams, senior individual contributors, and cross-functional partners without full direct authority over execution resources.

The pay range for this role is$166,050to$265,700USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
