For our Milan office, we are looking for a Billing Assistant to support our Finance Department.

The Billing Assistant will be responsible for handling all facets of the billing function. Responsibilities include working with the Finance Manager and assigned partners to proactively manage their billing requests, preparing and processing timely and high-quality invoices, and monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle for specific assigned partners.
• Assume the responsibility of issuing timely and accurate invoices and e-invoices.
• Provide solutions to any invoicing-related problem.
• Check and update customer master data.
• Process cash receipts and monitor payments.
• Write thorough reports on billing activity for clients or partners with clear and reliable data.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Billing Assistant within a law firm.
• Adherence to laws, VAT and best practices in regard to invoicing and payment collection.
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Knowledge of 3E software is an asset.
• Proficiency in English.
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
