Global Securities is part of Global Markets within the Structured Products business line. The team is responsible for designing, establishing and managing issuance vehicles, programmes and capabilities for structured securities, including repackaging and securitization solutions. The area supports BBVA's structured products business across multiple jurisdictions and investor types.

Role Purpose:

Drive the development and implementation of new issuance capabilities, wrappers and strategic initiatives to expand BBVA's structured securities platform. The role combines project management, process design and cross-functional coordination to enable new products, jurisdictions and issuance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to develop and implement new issuance wrappers, platforms and structured securities capabilities.

• Coordinate the setup of new issuers, programmes, jurisdictions and market infrastructures.

• Design and improve end-to-end issuance processes, identifying efficiencies and operational enhancements.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary projects involving Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations and external providers.

• Support the assessment of regulatory, operational and documentation requirements for new capabilities.

• Drive process standardisation, automation initiatives and continuous improvement across the Global Securities platform.

• Monitor market developments and identify opportunities to expand BBVA's issuance capabilities and product offering.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in structured products, capital markets, financial markets infrastructure or strategic projects.

• Experience managing cross-functional projects and implementing new processes or business capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

• Knowledge of structured products, securities issuance or financial market infrastructure is highly desirable.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
