We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Performance Manager to join our team in San Ciprián, Spain. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in strengthening relationships between our operations and the communities we serve, while helping to deliver sustainable, long-term value for our stakeholders.
As Social Performance Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to site leadership, leading stakeholder engagement, community investment initiatives, social impact management, and social performance governance across the operation.
Qué harás
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's Social Performance Plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, local authorities, community organizations, and other key external partners.
- Identify, assess, and manage social risks and opportunities associated with site activities.
- Facilitate meaningful stakeholder engagement and ensure community perspectives are considered in business decisions.
- Manage community feedback, inquiries, and grievance processes with transparency and professionalism.
- Coordinate social investment and community development programs, including sponsorships, donations, volunteering initiatives, and foundation activities.
- Monitor compliance with Alcoa's Social Performance Standards and support internal and external assurance reviews and audits.
- Collaborate closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure social obligations and commitments are effectively managed and fulfilled.
- Maintain social performance registers, databases, impact assessments, and reporting processes.

We're interested in candidates who bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Communications, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related disciplines.
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in social performance, community relations, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, communications, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of social impact assessment, risk management, and stakeholder engagement practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and managing complex issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
